26th November 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Foggy and cold then sunny periods Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Wednesday 26th November - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – foggy and cold then sunny periods. Maeva’s 3rd Birday:) Woke to icy fog here in Felixstowe so after clearing our windscreen I had a ride round to take some pics to send to the TV weather, got so crackers too, shame none were used! Starting off at the pier where you couldn’t see the end then parked up at the Ferry and had a walk around the boatyard before ending back, I just passed the golf club when the sun started to peek out above the fog so I stopped on the cliff top and then The Dip to take some pics followed by Brackenbury then returned to the Ferry but the sun had disappeared then headed for home via The Fludyers to warm up as it was bloom’n freezing! Breakfast followed by sorting my pics out while Mag baked as we were having Maeva round for a Birthday tea. After a quick lunch Mag and I had time for a walk down to the pier as the sun was setting over the docks, Mag headed for home just before The Fludyers while I continued past the hotel and saw the sun set when walking back as a huge container ship headed out. Our company had arrived, Maeva looking wonderful in her sparking pink dress with her Mum and Dad and she had put a dent in Mags freshly made biscuits. She then opened all her presents and played with everyone, she is an absolute star:) She loved the farm Mag had spent many hours knitting and her new balance bike, she didn’t take long to get the hang of that, a top day was had by all!
